The mission of Jonathan Cattell Elementary is to empower families, students, community and staff to become independent, lifelong learners through arts integrated experiences and community engagement.

Jonathan Cattell Elementary serves 400 students living on the Northeast side of Des Moines.  We work to provide a safe, nurturing environment that allows students to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.  We are proud to be the mighty mustangs!
